When the possible father is unavailable, a biological relationship can often still be established through his close relatives. These tests examine the DNA shared between grandparents, aunts, uncles and children, and we will advise which relatives give the strongest result.
Peace-of-mind tests answer your question privately. If the result may be needed for a court or another official body in England & Wales, choose the legal version, which adds professionally witnessed, chain-of-custody collection.

Both paternal grandparents together give a stronger statistical result than one. Including the child's mother, where possible, also strengthens any relationship test.
Relationship tests report the likelihood of the tested relationship. Your report explains in plain English what the numbers mean for your question, and our team is available to talk it through.
Testing only proceeds with the appropriate consent for every person sampled. For children, consent must come from someone with parental responsibility.
